**About this role**:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President, Treasury Management Sales (internally known as Lead Treasury Management Sales Consultant) based in either Vancouver or Calgary office.
**In this role, you will**:
- Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional with broad impact, and act as key participant in large scale planning for Treasury Management Sales functional area
- Review and analyze complex multi faceted, large scale, or long term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Make decisions in complex and multi faceted situations requiring a sound understanding of Treasury Management Sales functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with Treasury Management Sales peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead Treasury Management Sales projects and teams, or serve as a peer mentor
**Required Qualifications**:
- 5+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
**Desired Qualifications**:
- Subject matter expert (SME) in Canadian treasury management / cash management products and banking environment
- Strong understanding of US treasury management products and banking environment
- Ability to lead the translation of the Canadian / US treasury management landscape for customers and partners
- Experience with complex and large project treasury management opportunities
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience at proactively generating leads, calling on customers, and closing sales
- Communicates confidently with customers, superiors, peers and subordinates
- Strong negotiation and influence skills
- Experience exceeding established sales and customer satisfaction goals
- Ability to be proactive, innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs
- Ability to deliver dynamic presentations to a variety of audiences
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
**Job Expectations**:
- Responsible for having a strong understanding of Canadian and US treasury management products and being able to leverage it to provide meaningful insight and value to both customers and partners
- Will have to be able to be successful at building relationships with a large number of internal partners to understand how treasury management products can be valuable to their business and clients
- Provide feedback and market insight to Treasury Management Product Partners as an advocate for customers' needs
- Required to create opportunities and lead treasury management deal execution to ensure clients needs and expectations are met
- Conduct customer centric reviews such as working capital analyses and Business Process Reviews to drive meaningful insights that lead to action
- Effectively manage a diverse set of client types. Including but not limited to: large corporate, middle market, head offices and subsidiaries
- Be able to gather information from multiple sources and take complex processes or information and deliver a clear and concise view to customers and partners
- Identify and participate in internal and external events that will increase awareness and adoption of Wells Fargo's Treasury Management solutions
- This is an evolving business so an ability to adapt well as the role and business evolves is important
- Will be able to develop relationships and opportunities via phone, teleconference and in person
- Occasional travel within Western Canada and United States
