Amsted Automotive London, Ontario is looking for an Experienced Materials Manager with Supply chain or Logistics experience to support the daily operations of the Transform Automotive Plant.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
- Promote and practice company Ideal Behaviors
- Adapt and promote lean manufacturing principals.
- Active participant in the Elimination of Waste Team meetings
- Support the Company’s Goals and Objectives
- Develop departmental goals (KPI’s) for inventory value, freight costs, supply chain delivery performance, departmental training. Elimination of Waste and 5S activities. Track progress and implement corrective actions where necessary to meet targets.
- Actively involved in developing business plans and cost reduction initiatives to meet company objectives.
- Develop detailed procedures for all aspects of the material control functions.
- Develop annual training plan for direct reports.
- Proactively identify potential business issues and/or supply constraints, work with appropriate teams to develop recovery plans and escalate, as appropriate
- Participate in the APQP process, manage ramp up of new work/ramp down of current production to service levels while working closely with outside suppliers and internal production, quality, and engineering teams.
- Assist resource management by providing minimum customer shipping forecast, as required & will provide sale forecasts.
- Management duties for SAP to include system implementation and maintenance for production planning and production control.
- Establish requirements for material releases for the supply base using MRP; manage supplier schedules and supply chain performance.
- Serves in the capacity of Internal Auditor for IATF16949 and ISO 14001
- Reports Systems Auditor findings at Monthly Goals and Objectives Meetings
- Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED**
- Supply Chain or Logistics Management certificate or degree
- Detailed knowledge of production planning, inventory control, supply chain management and customer specific delivery systems.
- Ability to use SAP to drive continual improvements making recommendations for change.
- Must be able to make ethical decisions that meet Company objectives.
- Position requires experience of a fast paced, automotive manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills are needed for internal and external customer and supplier contact.
- Must be able to work extra hours when required.

Pay: $98,371.00-$104,320.00 per year
