Equals Brewing Company was founded in 2018 and has quickly grown to be a well-respected partner in producing great beers, ciders, and ready-to-drink products for many of Ontario’s and Canada’s favorite breweries and brands. Equals launched Bangarang Hard Seltzer in 2020, which has grown to be one of the fastest-growing RTD brands in Ontario. In 2021, Equals launched Shake Lager, which won a gold medal in its first appearance in the Canadian Brewing Awards. In 2022, Equals purchased Side Launch Brewery in Collingwood, adding more award winning brands to the portfolio.

**Role Summary**

This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for planning short term production, maintaining inventory, and ordering materials efficiently and effectively by way of identifying improvement opportunities, leading internal operations, and achieving objectives. The individual will need to monitor daily packaging and brewing processes, identify critical materials and services required, and develop strategies and plans to support the company’s needs. They will be responsible for day to day planning, maintaining and improving business relationships with suppliers, ensuring proper ordering and inventory management processes are in place, material procurement, and supporting the entire Operations teams as required.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for weekly production planning for the brewhouse, cellars, and packaging departments
- Accountable for procurement of brewing materials and support of inventory and storage
- Communicate with other departments to identify/resolve issues, capacity restraints, or shortages
- Identify procurement problems and propose solutions within the scope of the position
- Support Operations in all aspects of the supply chain from sourcing to renegotiating agreements
- Assist with data entry of vendor purchase information into ERP
- Build and maintain positive and accountable relationships with vendors through efficient, timely communications to influence cost reductions and continuity of service
- Build on current initiatives and drive improvement through problem identification and resolution
- Support with identifying and anticipating internal customer requirements, expectations and needs
- Execute purchase orders to fulfill operational needs primarily for brewing materials and services
- Make alternate arrangements in the event of shortages or delayed deliveries to minimize the impact on the organization
- Ensure shipment information and inventory data are up-to-date and accurate
- Analyze data and current procedures to determine areas for improvement
- Takes immediate and independent action to resolve issues or problems when they arise
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary education in a related field such as Business Administration, Economics, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management
- 2-3 years of Production Planning/Procurement experience preferred
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and commitment to achieving goals and objectives
- Strong attention to detail and able to manage changing priorities, often under tight timelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management
- Efficient time management and organizational skills
- High productivity and results-driven mindset
- Familiar with GSuite, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Gmail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Working Conditions**
- Position will involve a combination of working in an office environment while sitting at a desk, and walking on the production floor for inventory counts
- Long hours may be required during peak seasons of operation
- Lift items up to 25 kg
- Work in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
