**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate closely with Chef Michael Angeloni to conceptualize and develop a cutting-edge menu that reflects culinary trends, seasonal ingredients, and our restaurant's vision.
- Lead and inspire a team of dedicated culinary professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and teamwork.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and quality control, ensuring adherence to high standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
- Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen resources efficiently while maintaining profitability.
- Uphold sanitation and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and uphold a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Work closely with suppliers to source the freshest, highest quality ingredients, fostering relationships to support our commitment to excellence.
- Contribute to the training and development of kitchen staff, nurturing their skills and passion for culinary arts.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment.
- Exceptional culinary skills, with a deep understanding of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating and mentoring culinary teams to achieve excellence.
- Creativity and innovation in menu development, with a passion for exploring new ingredients, techniques, and food trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Certification from a culinary institution is preferred.
