**Your opportunity**:
Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) and Project Manager, the **Case Coordinator** facilitates the respondent search process and provides administrative support to the Toronto Family Study: 25 Years Later (TFSplus25). Duties include managing data and resources, maintaining and updating participant records, providing recruitment support, and tracking milestones to support the PI and Project Manager with critical decisions regarding project direction and to meet key milestones and project goals.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Finding and validating contact points for participants with missing information.
- Maintaining a case completion rate each month to meet study’s targets.
- Assisting the Project Manager with the assignment of new cases to Field Interviewers.
- Coordinating monthly introduction letter mailing process to prospective participants.
- Attending weekly in-person meetings with the Research Team and monthly virtual meetings with the Field Interviewer Team.

**Essential qualifications**:

- Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (research stream master’s degree is an asset) or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Aptitude for problem solving.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated collaborative abilities and approachability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable with using online tools, databases, and social media to gather additional contact information about participants.
- Ability to work at least one day per week in the study’s field office located at the St. George (downtown Toronto) campus in the Department of Sociology at the University of Toronto.

**Preferred (nonessential) qualifications**:

- Statistical or quantitative training, education, or coursework is preferred, as this is a large-scale quantitative survey.
- Some experience with quantitative data management (e.g., Qualtrics).
- Familiarity with social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook, and proficiency in using them to find contact information about participants.
- Minimum one year of related research experience.

**Position details**:
Compensation: $22.47/hour.

Hours:

- Approximately 18 hours per week.
- Must be available to attend weekly in-person team meetings in the Department of Sociology at the St. George (downtown Toronto) campus.
- Weekly work schedule will be established by mutual agreement, but will involve regular hours each week on the same days. The Case Coordinator will need to maintain a case completion rate each month to meet the study’s targets.
