**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting or Finance Administration Specialist to join our team. This position provides some real-life work opportunities for a recent college or university graduate t to gain hands-on experience in various administrative tasks in a supportive environment. The Specialist will primarily assist with filing, scanning invoices, and supporting our accounting department with tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for documents and records.
- Scan and digitize invoices and other relevant documents for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Assist in data entry and processing tasks within our accounting system.
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and client invoicing.
- Collaborate with team members to generate financial reports and assist with data analysis as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Recent graduate in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Prior work or co-op experience in accounting or finance is strongly preferred.

**Schedule and Compensation**:
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 3 days or more per week initially, with flexibility to accommodate business requirements. There is possibility of full-time attention upon successful completion of a part-time interim period.

Compensation will be provided based on an hourly rate commensurate with experience.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
