**Professor, Business**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Creating a positive and innovative student-centred learning environment.
- Using a variety of teaching and learning strategies including online learning.
- Using a variety of techniques to evaluate student achievement of learning outcomes.
- Managing the educational environment to facilitate an optimal learning experience and student success.
- Enhancing educational delivery and experiences through the use of technology.
- The successful applicant will be expected to develop, evaluate, revise and deliver academic curriculum cooperatively with other professors.
- The incumbent will be expected to make use of educational technology in course delivery and services, to promote student success initiatives and to work with program areas of the College.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
The successful applicant will have:

- A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Capability of teaching a broad array of business courses and concepts including Microsoft excel at an advanced level.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a flexible and cooperative manner.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of human rights, equity, diversity and inclusion with the ability to communicate and work effectively inter-culturally with diverse groups of students, employees and the community.

Programs run on a year-round basis and teaching during the spring and summer months is required. Faculty may be scheduled to teach between the hours of 8:00am to 10:00pm.
