The **Faculty **of Health Sciences Human Resources Office** provides leadership, advice, support and resources to faculty and staff to foster the creation of an environment that is inclusive, diverse, and engaging. Working with our partners within the faculty and beyond, we are responsible for recruiting a large and diverse number of individuals locally, nationally, and internationally. We support over 2000 staff members as well as 890 full-time and 2800 part-time faculty members who help the faculty to accomplish its mission and vision. These are dispersed amongst the Schools and Departments in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

**Job Summary**:
The** Employee Experience Advisor (EEA)** is part of the FHS-HR team, where sharing ideas, open communication accountability and partnership are promoted. This collaborative environment enables the FHS-HR team to deliver comprehensive and responsive client solutions.

Reporting to the Associate Director, FHS Human Resources, the EEA provides a range of human resource support services to the Faculty of Health Sciences community. The EAA is responsible for delivering excellent service and HR support and administration for a diverse and complex Faculty in a timely, accurate and uninterrupted manner. The EEA applies a working knowledge of human resources best practices and functions to all operational aspects of human resources, ensuring that employment related issues are followed through to resolution in accordance with university policy and/or collective agreements, and legislative requirements. The EEA will also provide recommendations and/or assistance to the FHS-HR team as required.

**Duties & Responsiblities**:
**HR Support/Service Excellence**
- Responsible for building strong relationships and networks across the faculty, the organization and hospital sites, working closely with client groups to support their department goals and strategy. (help develop departmental KPIs, analyze reports, action planning for engagement survey)
- Acts as the primary HR contact providing HR Support and administration to various employee groups (Unifor, post doctoral fellows, clinical fellows, clinical faculty, MUFA, TMG, MUALA, Interim) in all aspects of the employment relationship including: HR policies, collective agreements, employee relations, payroll, benefits and pension eligibility and enrolment.
- Responsible for leading full end-to-end LOA processes for approximately 18 types of leaves. (provide end to end client support regarding the leave of absence requirements with relation to the Employment Standards Act, CBA/policy, process, and benefits and payroll continuation (SUB top-up and tax increases) for all FHS employee groups prior to leave start.
- Advises departmental HR support (HR Administrators) and provides education, technical support, and direction on FHS HR issues such as: CBA Interpretation, provide employee and labour relations advice, recruitment best practices and support, Mosaic HR technology support and self-reporting implementation support.
- Conducts research where necessary to accurately respond to employee inquiry or resolve issues. (eg/ Professor Emeritus lost library access
- Liaise and build relationships with broader HR team, the faculty and campus to support inquiry resolution and current processes.
- Maintain data to support effective client service measurement as required.
- Responsible for some of the preliminary investigation of issues and uses judgment to identify more complex matters that should be referred to appropriate senior HR professional and ensures comprehensive background information is collected and shared. (begin PIP discussions with department, help dept complete form and follow appropriate steps)
- Responsible for input, running reports/auditing data and business processes within Mosaic related to employee life cycle events.
- Responsible for building external relationships with host hospital sites and all processes related to FHS security access/badges inclusive of affiliated host hospital sites.
- Draft’s employment related documentation i.e., offer/appointment letters, employee verification, notices correspondence, leave of absence etc. and ensures HR employee files are maintained.
- Responding to many competing demands by identifying priorities and demonstrating effective time management.
- Perform all system entry, including initial job data entry, biodata entry, benefits entry, payroll data entry (direct deposit and taxes), layoffs end-to
- end, RMA entry for Clinical Faculty, schedule setup, account setup, job data updates for any employment changes (hours changes, contract extensions, pre-retirement reduced workload, status changes, job transfers) Ensure termination packages are executed correctly in the system following separation
