Sales Assistant

The sales assistant will be responsible for supporting the Vice President of Sales and other members of the sales leadership team. Will provide assistance throughout the entire product lifecycle, starting with design concept through to final production details. Must be able to implement and monitor projects, as directed by Management, and see the projects through to completion. Our Sales Assistant will work with our internal cross-functional teams to complete sales presentations, inventory/blank tracking, order writing/processing, customer-specific requests, and overall merchandising projects.
**Project Management**:
- Support sales in managing presentation timelines and project requests.
- Works closely with art/merchandising teams to facilitate all design needs.
- Organize sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines.
**Order Processing (Domestic & Import)**
- Work with internal and external teams to properly complete internal sales order process.. Ensure all information is consistent across buy plans, comps, and order forms.
- Partner with licensing teams to track and obtain licensing approval for all styles prior to production.
- Assist in monitoring inventory and blank tracking.
- Work with costing department to submit and secure approved costing for domestic and import items, meeting our margin goals.
- Work with internal teams (Import, Customer Service, and Domestic) to ensure all orders are on schedule.
- Work with internal teams (Import, Customer Service, and Domestic) to problem-solve any delays in the order timeline.
- Utilize internal systems to submit and procure product samples. Partner with domestic and import teams to ensure product execution exceeds customer standards.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education in Business Development and/or Marketing, or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, operate under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- Be self-motivated, confident, and energetic, and highly organized
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have full-time availability, Monday through Friday
- Comfortable with being in-office and computer use
