**SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide support to sales representatives in acquiring and researching new business leads; prepare/ enter quotes/proposals and/or other sales initiatives in the tracking system;
- Assess and test new sales strategies by conducting trial calls with existing and new clients;
- Respond to RFQ’s (Request for Quotes) by researching cost and market pricing;
- Research/ track in house surplus inventory, gather all documentation and upload in the inventory system;
- Pull parts inventory, inspect and ensure that all certification documentation is available and accurate;
- Update and maintain the sales department database;
- Responsible to research vendors, issue purchase and/ or repair orders and ensure timely follow up;
- Create and prepare invoices for related sales orders, ensuring that all applicable taxes and charges have been captured;
- Other duties/tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Post-secondary education in a Business related field;
- 1 to 3 years of pertinent experience;
- Basic MS Office suite and Acrobat experience is required;
- Previous administrative experience in a professional environment would be an asset;
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
- Very detail oriented with a focus on process improvement;
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills;
- Ability to review own work for accuracy and thoroughness;
- Excellent communication skills.
