**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Atlantic Region Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies (ARAISA)is seeking a Project Lead to join its growing team. Reporting to the Manager, Programs and Services, the Project Lead is instrumental in developing and coordinating multi-stakeholder partnerships and relationships across organizations, ensuring that project activities are being implemented in a timely and efficient manner for the Migrant Workers Support Project.

**ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION**

ARAISA is a non-profit umbrella association that serves as a collective voice and forum for its members who are committed to the settlement and integration of immigrants and refugees in the Atlantic Region. ARAISA works to increase the effectiveness of its members through its initiatives to support the sector and its contributions to regional and national forums. ARAISA provides professional development and networking opportunities, facilitates information and resource exchange, hosts sector-specific working groups, convenes meetings with key stakeholders, and represents its members through national bodies, with the goal of having a positive impact on settlement and integration policies and practices.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide supervision and support to the Project Administrator, as a direct report
- Development of documents related to sub-agreements, reporting templates, as well as other tools and documents
- Support the establishment of a regional working group to support migrant workers
- Engage with national actors on initiatives and joint actions related to migrant workers
- Disseminate information with the ARAISA team and members about migrant workers’ rights
- Develop a reporting template to be used by the Sub-Agreement Holders to facilitate the reporting process
- Coordinate monthly check-in meetings with the Sub-Agreement Holders
- Conduct visits to each Sub-Agreement Holder twice over the duration of the project to provide support and monitor project progress
- Manage and monitor project expenditures as outlined in the overall project budget
- Review the financial reports developed by the Project Administrator
- Work with the Manager, Financial Operations to finalize financial reports prior to submission to the funder
- Create communication strategies to support project objectives, in collaboration with ARAISA’s communication team
- Plan and implement a virtual knowledge-sharing event for stakeholders, in conjunction with ARAISA’s communications team
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of issues related to migrant worker rights
- Contribute to a positive team environment where diversity, trust, learning, and well-being are valued

The Project Lead, MWSP is also responsible for:

- Providing support to ARAISA’s programs and operations as required
- Representing ARAISA at events or external meetings, when requested
- Other duties or projects as assigned

**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES**
- 3+ years of relevant professional work experience
- University degree(s) in a relevant field(s)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English **required**; French is an asset
- Experience in program management, including work planning, priority setting, financial management, monitoring and evaluation, and writing reports and proposals
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Understanding of migrant worker issues, particularly in the context of Atlantic Canada
- Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Zoom

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- ARAISA staff work in a hybrid environment which includes a minimum of 2 days per week in the ARAISA office, with additional regular all-staff in-person meetings in accordance with our HR Policy Manual that can be updated periodically.
- Travel within the Atlantic Region may be occasionally required

**COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**

This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible and continuing until March 31, 2024, with a possibility of extension pending renewal of funding. For this position, the annual salary is $56,800 and also includes:
