We are looking for a **Manager, Building and Operations** to support our business growth in Toronto. The **Manager, Building and Operations** will oversee the tasks in managing the physical property and overall operations of OTT’s facilities. This includes day-to-day administration and maintenance of the property portfolio and all services to residents. This role will work alongside other Managers within the Properties and Development Group to oversee the contract and collaborate closely with the outsourcing resources. #LI-Onsite

**_ How you will contribute:_**
- Overseeing the management of the overall facilities and maintenance of OTT’s properties.
- Ensuring that the standards for maintenance response and repairs are met.
- Ensuring the facilities team members are properly equipped with information, training, and tools to provide exceptional customer service.
- Planning and executing network and systems maintenance and enhancements.
- Managing office security systems.
- Collaborating with the Senior Property Management Manager to oversee budget plan and Project Management initiatives.
- Initiating reviews of regular contracts for services and supplies on a regular basis.
- Authorizing payment of contractor invoices, including release of holdbacks.
- Providing advice regarding efficiencies in maintenance-related expenses.
- Supporting drafting of the operating budgets for all properties and providing required analysis for review by the Senior Property Management Manager.
- Managing the centralized fire safety records including monitoring for compliance, and reporting deficiencies.
- Assisting in establishing new or revised procedures related to service standards.
- Ensuring team members meet all standard Health and Safety practices and regulations.
- Preparing annual evaluations of direct reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**_ What you bring to the table:_**
- College Diploma in Property Management, Engineering, Electrical or related Bachelor's degree.
- Training preferred: Occupational Health and Safety Act, Residential Tenancy Act, Landlord and Tenant Board, Ontario Building Code, First Aid, HVAC, Plumbing and/or Electrical.
- Certification in the following is an asset: Property Management, or Project Management
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in building operations and/or property management (residential and/or commercial). Engineering experience will be an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Chinese will be an asset.
- Proficiency MS Office, and digital, online and virtual platforms.
- Good Collaboration skills
