Corrpro Canada is Canada's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for protecting and preserving infrastructure. We provide professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro Canada has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any cathodic protection system for any type of structure.

**WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR**:

- Will lead Corrpro Canada’s safety department and be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of world class safety programs that drive safety excellence
- Ensure client prequalification, Agency legal requirements, Corporate Initiatives and Project Specific HSE issues are positively addressed in an efficient and timely manner
- Work with supervisors and clients to ensure that safety incidents are properly investigated and documented
- Work with supervisors to ensure that HSE inspections are regularly conducted on field, facility and office locations with the purpose to identify and mitigate issues before they become incidents, as well as identify and acknowledge positive behavior and actions
- Ensure appropriate corrective measures are established and assigned.
- Ensure regular reviews of all incidents are conducted with leadership members
- Develop or direct development of specific audit/inspection tools
- Organize and review data, make observations and research inconsistencies and present reports and recommendations to management
- Travel to the field and facility locations for the purposes of observation and communication
- Must be available on-call outside of standard office hours for Safety needs/ emergencies
- Will supervision and manage tasks by other HSE professional as a direct report, which includes supporting and encouraging their career progression

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Occupational Health and Safety Degree, Diploma or equivalent years of experience
- 10+ years of relevant Safety experience.
- 4+ years experience with people management
- Must be able to be a Certified COR Auditor
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) minimum
- Certified Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) is preferred
- Necessary Construction Safety Association Courses to stay compliant with company Certificate of Recognition requirements
- Must be able to travel as needed
