Payroll Funding Canada Corp. is the process and funding backbone for staffing businesses in need of payroll processing, funding, human resources assistance and financial stability to sustain their growth. **Responsibilities**:
- Process and manage payroll on a weekly basis for employees for a staffing agency accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations and requirements
- Maintain accurate records of employee wages, deductions, and hours worked
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Calculate and process payroll taxes, including federal, and provincial taxes
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as needed
- Assist with general ledger accounting tasks as assigned
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data in the payroll system
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an accounting/payroll position
- Completion of college diploma in Accounting/Payroll
- PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) Designation
- Minimum 2 years' experience of full cycle Canadian payroll experience
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
- Familiarity with tax regulations and payroll processing procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Strong analytical skills to analyze payroll data and identify discrepancies or errors
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Effective communication skills to interact with employees regarding payroll inquiries or issues
- Experience with accounts receivable, tax preparation, debit/credit transactions, or general ledger reconciliation an asset.

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
