Accounting Coordinator

As the Accounting Coordinator/Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing company's financial tasks such as managing receivables and ensuring all company invoices are properly tracked and recorded. You will work closely with company financial professionals and management, and outside vendors. Success in this role will be demonstrated through accurate and timely financial transaction processing.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Recording/coding of day-to-day financial transactions in an accurate and timely manner
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct supplier ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
- Perform account receivable functions including filing singed customer contracts on the customer portal, invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
- Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
- Process bank and credit card statements
- Reconcile and verify all company invoices and monthly statements, assign payments to applicable cost centers
- Conduct reconciliation of bank accounts, company general ledgers, and other similar accounts on an as needed basis
- Posting and updating accrual/prepayment journal entries
- Tracking fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules
- Maintain historical records by filing documents.
- Resolve account discrepancies
- Co-ordinate with external vendors to resolve any invoice problems or inaccuracies
- Assist with corporate audit and other financial reporting requirements as needed
- Provides support to senior accounting staff
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports on an as needed basis.
- Ensures that company accounting policies are compliant with regulations and accounting standards
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Expertise in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks Accounting software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Commitment to confidentiality and integrity

**Shift & Schedule**:
- Workday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
