**Responsibilities**
- Inspect and physically receive all incoming raw materials and packaging, including bulk silo receipts, to ensure they meet Aspire's G. M. P. and receiving requirements
- Enter receipts into inventory system and locate materials into warehouse locations
- Enter all transfers of packaging and raw materials to and from production lines into inventory system
- Ensure production lines are serviced in a timely manner
- Records pallet type by quantity on all receipts and returns
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse as per food safety and GMP standards
- Ensure a safe work environment based on O.H.S.A.
- Deal directly with the warehouse supervisor, purchasing, QA and production supervisors to advise of quality, delivery, receipt and inventory issues
- Keep warehouse supervisor, purchasing and production supervisors informed of receiving and inventory issues
- Retrieve M.R.P. from the inventory system to identify line requirements
- Retrieve raw materials and packaging according to G.M.P. standards, stage in warehouse location(s) and identifying any potential shortages, in advance of production
- Maintain F.E.F.O. ensuring oldest stock always used first
- Move needs to production staging area prior to production, recording transfer
- Retrieve additional materials as requested throughout the day by the lines
Ensure production lines are serviced in a timely manner
- Scan and return unused materials from the production lines to their warehouse locations each day
- Resource inventory information from the inventory system as necessary throughout the day
- Maintain the tray storage area as required
- Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality and quality
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in SOP manual
- Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules as outlined in employee handbook
- Keep work area clean and clear of hazards
- Report any unsafe conditions, incidents or injuries to supervisor immediately
- Use all prescribed personal protective equipment
- Ensure GMP's and safe food handling practices are being followed
- All tools to be cleaned and maintained in good repair. Report any broken, damaged, or missing tools to your supervisor. Do not discard any damaged or broken tools.
- Follow all GMPs including maintaining personal hygiene, hand washing/sanitizing hands, clean up spills (i.e., ingredients, water, debris and wood)
- Report any foreign material findings to your supervisor
- Report all ceiling leaks to your supervisor
- As part of food security, report any unusual people or behavior to your supervisor
- Perform all other duties assigned
**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Effective organizer, Service-oriented, responsible
- Sense of urgency
- Effective communicator
- Good organizational skills
- Strong follow-up - attention to detail
- Computer literacy
- GMP and safety awareness
- SAP knowledge preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent

- The majority of work in the bakery requires employees to stand on their feet for the entire
8-12 hour shift
- Physical demands may also include reaching, bending, walking, lifting (up to a maxiumum
of 50lbs) and performing repetitive actions

- Aspire Bakeries is a 24 hour/ 7 day manufacturing operation
- The temperature of the environment within the production area can range from 58 - 80
degrees farenheight depending on the department
- The production areas are often loud, exceeding 85 decibels, due to the machinery that is
running; earplugs are required to be worn while in the bakery at all times
- Depending on postion, some employees may be exposed to dust; dust masks and
respirators are available if required
