Manager, Airport Capacity

The Airport Capacity Team is an integral part of the success to the overall airport ecosystem, balancing demand against capacity through the lens of service delivery to our customers and efficient utilization of our assets.
**Position overview**
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Oversight and ownership of our capacity management programs and practices including all aspects of policy, people, process, data and technology to consistently manage demand against capacity.
- Establish operational strategies, set capacity parameters and ensure efficient utilization of our assets.
- Oversee the analysis of aircraft, baggage and passenger demand against established capacity and approved demand to continuously improve our strategic and operational outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong and meaningful relationships with our airline customers.
- Participate in or oversee special projects and other assignments supporting capacity management at YVR.
**Key qualifications include**:
- Post-secondary degree, preferably in Business or Operations Management, supplemented by a minimum of seven years’ experience working in aviation or an operational decision-making role; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Preference for experience in airline/airport slot scheduling and planning.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret, derive insights and present large data sets balanced with decision-making skills and the ability to work with ambiguity.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement programs with a keen consideration for stakeholder impact and change management.
- Proven relationship skills including the ability to organize and facilitate effective communication between multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated people leadership skills.
**Salary Range **:$100,640 to $144,670 per annum, based on a 37.5-hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications and internal equity. Performance-Based Incentive: Eligible for an annual bonus target at 15% of your annual salary.
