We are currently seeking an **Administration - Accounting Assistant **to join our team.We are looking for a person who likes variety, to work in our office as our receptionist and supporting the accounting team.

**Here are some of the things you will do**:

- Answering main phone line (Daily)
- Directing in person visitors (Daily)
- Distribute mail (Daily)
- Assist with entering Payables Invoices (Daily)
- Assist with monthly cheque run process (Monthly)
- Manage Accounts Receivable (includes processing payments and following up on outstanding amounts) (Daily)
- Processing BC Union Payroll (Bi-weekly)
- Assist with Bank Reconciliation (Monthly)

- Minimum education required - High-School graduate, some college preferred.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Ability to adapt on the fly and have a "get stuff done" attitude.
- Ability to work independently and effectively be a member of a team.
- Manage multiple priorities in an often fast-paced environment.
- Work with autonomy and a sense of initiative.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. French is an asset.
