**Monthly Salary Range**: MoveUp Group 09, MIN $5,902.00 - MAX $7,089.00 is available through annual general wage/step increases.

**Recruitment Range**: MIN $5,902 - STEP 3 $6,559.

**What you'll be doing...**:
The Project Coordinator works collaboratively with Project Managers and the Fleet Capital Projects Program Manager to support process mapping and to coordinate activities of transit fleet asset projects that ensure achievement of cost, schedule, scope, document control, and quality standard requirements.

You will demonstrate passion and excitement for integrating new innovative technology to our fleet in support of BC Transit’s greenhouse gas reduction targets by delivering projects that are fully integrated, cost-effective, and sustainable.

This individual will be involved in all facets of BC Transit’s Fleet Capital Projects such as schedule, risk management, maintaining documentation, project financials, reporting, contracting and task administration and project status updates. Currently there is also specific need to support the Transmission, Engines, Differential and Seats (TEDS) project, where meticulous organization skills are required to keep track of all the moving parts (literally).

**What you'll bring to the table...**:

- We value lifelong learners and have found that a mix of any of the following credentials have set people up for success in this role in the past:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree, or educational equivalent/work experience
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation or educational equivalent/work experience
- Three (3) years’ experience assisting and supporting projects with multiple stakeholders and/or vendors
- Knowledge of public transit or commercial vehicle transportation industry would be considered an asset
- Experience coordinating projects and/or project components
- Strong financial administrative skills, including cash-flow tracking and forecasting
- Demonstrated competency and comfort with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
- Comfort and a demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision
- Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and deliverables
- Ability to travel on occasion as needed
