We work closely with clients who suffer from **depression, anxiety, insomnia and ADHD.** CBT Care Providers work alongside our team of Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists to provide a comprehensive care program for our clients. In our program, CBT is a central component of the therapeutic approach we offer to our clients. By incorporating CBT techniques and strategies, we aim to empower individuals to overcome challenges, enhance their well-being, and achieve their desired outcomes.

**Your Role**

As the **CBT** **Care Provider**, you will work closely with the **CBT Lead Team.** **Your role is engaging clients from a perspective that combines the qualities of a person-centred therapeutic relationship - warmth, empathy and authenticity - with a collaborative coaching partnership focused on helping the client identify their goals and the strategies needed to obtain them. You will deliver CBT interventions and work collaboratively with clients to address challenges and support them in achieving their specific goals. In addition, this role may evolve based on strengths and includes administrative duties.

**Your Responsibilities as CBT Care Provider**:

- Delivering evidence-based CBT to clients via a virtual platform, guiding clients in achieving their mental health goals.
- Managing cases with sensitivity, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, by attending Supervision and Clinical Rounds, contributing to a positive, cohesive team environment.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate client documentation in EMR.
- Managing risk concerns and escalating clients when necessary.
- Following a trauma informed approach.
- Assisting with administrative activities and other projects.

**Succeeding as a CBT Care Provider will require the following**:
**Core qualifications**:

- **Education**: Undergraduate Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social work, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1 year of experience providing 1:1 CBT-based therapy; preferably in a 1:1 setting
- **Knowledge**: Demonstrated understanding of depression, anxiety, insomnia and ADHD
- **Training**: Training in handling suicidal ideation and completing risk assessments

**Essential skills**:

- Strong demonstration of core therapeutic skills; including empathy, patience, active listening, problem solving, reflective thinking
- Comfort supporting multiple clients a day through video conferencing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with an ability to multitask when needed
- Good clinical judgment, regard for others and respect for individual rights of autonomy and confidentiality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to speak the following languages is a strong asset, but not required: French, Mandarin, Korean, Spanish, Arabic
- Comfortable with technology and EMR platforms
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and collaborate effectively with others

- Remote - A private remote work environment and equipment, including computer and strong internet connection is required
