Outside Sales Representative

Reporting to the Parts Sales Manager, the Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting sales targets and developing and maintaining lasting business relationships with customers in their assigned territory. They will recommend products that meet customers’ needs and provide relevant information about the Girardin product offering to grow revenue and achieve profit targets. The incumbent will help carry out the company’s mission in keeping with its approach, values and objectives.
**MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with a list of customers in their territory, including:
- Plan a sales visit calendar covering the entire territory
- Respond to customer needs and requests and provide them relevant information about the product offering
- Inform customers of new product launches and current promotions
- Promote the benefits of Girardin’s e-commerce platform
- Identify business opportunities and convert them into sales to increase G-TECH’s market share and meet annual targets
- Develop business partnerships with new customers in the territory
- Update status of all customers and/or opportunities in CRM system, and write visit/call reports
- Track competition on an ongoing basis (product offering, promotions, new products, pricing, etc.) and ensure all relevant information is communicated to the Sales Department as quickly as possible
- Work with inside/outside sales representatives, the Outside Sales Coordinator and Sales Department management to support continuous improvement of customer service
- Support the department’s continuous improvement and strategic planning initiatives
- Help meet departmental profit targets
- Support the collective efforts of the department and the company as a whole
- The incumbent may be required to take on other responsibilities within their skill set as needed or at the request of their immediate supervisor.
