**The opportunity**

KPMG Law is uniquely positioned as an independent law firm affiliated with KPMG Canada and the KPMG global network. The KPMG Law practice is made up of service lines including Tax Litigation, Tax Law, Business Law, Employment Law, Trust and Estates, and Immigration.

This role focuses on helping with the organization, business planning and execution of strategic priorities that are critical in meeting the needs and the growth of the practice.

**What you will do**

As a member of the GTA Law team, the Business Account Manager will be instrumental in the execution of operational initiatives from start to finish. Under the direction of the Practice Lead Partner, this role will be accountable for understanding the scope of projects/duties assigned to them and working with team members and stakeholders. Initiatives that they might work on in this role span a variety of areas including operational and business growth, coordination, organization, reporting and practice development.

The successful individual will have a strong organization and planning capabilities, strong financial acumen, advanced communication experience with executive-level stakeholders and clients.
- A strategic thinker while being able to execute on tactile activities. You are comfortable moving between strategic discussions and nitty-gritty execution
- Able to manage multiple projects seamlessly and likes rolling up their sleeves to drive them to successful completion
- A self-starter who thrives in a quick paced environment without guidance. You thrive in ambiguity and hold yourself accountable
- A strong communicator with the ability to influence others. Using your expertise and interpersonal skills, you are able to motivate and move others towards a common goal.

**What you bring to the role
- 3 - 5 years of relevant or similar experience in project management, or in a consulting capacity.
- Exceptional relationship management skills with proven experience navigating complex stakeholder relationships to achieve successful outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements clearly and articulately.
- Keen project management and organizational capabilities.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and reporting skills with the ability to leverage reporting functionality to manage quantitative and qualitative data sets.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to adapt content & depth for intended audiences.
