**MISSION**

**PRIORITIES**
- Lead and manage the overall operations of the programs to ensure the most successful outcomes for the program and youth.
- Develop, promote and support the Housing First strategy that builds success through the social determinants of health.
- Ensure compliance with provincial standards, including successful achievement of key performance metrics.
- Develop a team of qualified, accountable, and responsive staff to align with the values of the organization.
- Lead and develop the staffing through performance management initiatives.
- Support the growth and development of staff through ongoing supervision, feedback and training for staff and supervisors.

**Requirements**:
**TALENTS & EXPERTISE**
- University degree or equivalent in a related social services field. Masters in relative field is considered an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience working as a supervisor/manager in the social service sector, preferably with a focus on youth homelessness.
- Understanding of issues relating to youth homelessness and the barriers youth face in attaining and maintaining their independence.
- Experience in recruiting and supervising program staff.
- Demonstrated experience in providing leadership to the staff team.
- Cultural competency sensitivity and commitment to working through an EDIB, anti-oppressive, anti-racism framework.
- Experience working with budgets, funding proposals, and completing funding requirements.
- Valid CPI/UMAB certification, First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.
- A valid Ontario’s Driver’s License is an asset, and access to a reliable vehicle preferred.
- Completion of a successful Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Record Check will be condition of employment.
