Supply Chain Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at PAPYRUS PAPER PLUS TRADING INC.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
Key Responsibilities- Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services.
- Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
- Develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
- Negotiate offers from suppliers.
- Consult with suppliers.
- Hire, train and supervise staff.
- Establish delivery schedules.
- Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires work under pressure and tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail and be able to work in a team.
