**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Daycare Administrator, starting on September 1st, 2024. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our daycare center, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, maintaining high standards of care, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Administrative Leadership**:Provide overall leadership and management of the daycare center, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
**Licensing Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all provincial and local licensing regulations, including health and safety standards, staff-to-child ratios, and record-keeping requirements.
**Financial Management**: Oversee budgeting, billing, and financial reporting processes, including monitoring expenses, revenue, and accounts receivable.
**Staff Development**: Recruit, hire, train, and support a team of qualified childcare professionals, promoting professional growth and development opportunities.
**Curriculum Oversight**:Collaborate with educators to develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that support children's learning and development.
**Parent Communication**: Build strong relationships with parents and families, providing regular communication, updates, and support to address their needs and concerns.
**Facilities Management**: Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the daycare facility, including indoor and outdoor play areas, equipment, and supplies.
**Community Engagement**: Represent the daycare center in the local community, participating in outreach events, networking opportunities, and partnerships with other organizations.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in childcare administration or management role.
Knowledge of provincial and local licensing regulations governing daycare centers.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with staff, parents, and community stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Familiarity with childcare management software (e.g., Procare, Brightwheel) is a plus.
