Due to the company’s growth, we are adding a Business Development Associate to assist with Business Development initiatives in our Commercial Design/Build environment. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative team with a focus on ensuring client satisfaction while living Aura’s values of Care, Humility, Creativity, Passion and Fun

- Exceptional sales abilities, especially by phone with the capacity to reach KPI’s and achieve sales targets;

Experience
- Experience in a sales setting, preferably in one where the product has a value >$100,000 with a prolonged sales cycle (over 12 months (our sales cycle can take over 3 years))
- Experience maintaining, modifying and using systems to track and report sales performance
- Demonstrable track record of revenue growth and sustained phone sales effort

Credentials
- Post-Secondary degree preferred, ideally in Design, Sales/Marketing, Business, Construction or other relevant field

**About the Role**

The Business Development Associate will market opportunities, make outbound prospecting calls and generate leads of future office design-construction projects, which will then be developed further by our specialist sales team. You are a bright and energetic professional who excels at building relationships and crushing quotas.

- Prospecting, lead generation and business development across Canada with a focus in BC
- B2B outreach at C-Suite level for organizations with 100+ employees
- Qualifying prospects and providing supporting marketing materials as required
- Collaborating with Account Executives to identify opportunities and grow the business
- Tracking and managing prospects through our CRM System (Hubspot)
- Managing and developing a handful of long-term national strategic accounts that may take 3+ years to develop and close
- Acting as a professional ambassador for Aura
- Participating in team meetings, networking, and activities to grow the business
- Maximizing LinkedIn profile and other relevant social media channels to build credibility and customer relationships
- Proactively following up on webinars, tradeshows, and other marketing campaigns
- Assisting Marketing in the development and execution of campaigns
- Managing post-sale relationships to provide exceptional client service, identify new opportunities and earn referrals
- Writing procedures relevant to the role and participate in company-wide process structuring
- Contributing to the strong company culture of team building and continuous improvement
