We are looking for a reliable Service Coordinator to manage the day-to-day scheduling of Gas Technicians within the Service Department.

**DUTIES**:

- Manage day to day scheduling of team of Service Technicians utilizing company’s service software
- Main liaison between the Customer and Service Technician
- Review all Technician works orders handed in with specific attention to missing details and communicate with Technicians to adjust as required
- Track outstanding quotes/recommendations and follow up with clients to ensure approvals are received complete and with customer purchase orders
- Ordering of all related parts and equipment required for a seamless job coordination to the field
- Ensure timely paperwork rotation from field staff for invoicing of open jobs
- Create and utilize reports within customer service software package to maintain customer database, work orders and item lists
- Maintain Service Technician yearly on-call schedule
- Keep control of a tidy and organized shop, while trying to utilize shop stock as much as possible and maintaining service department
- Overall mindfulness of costs and logistics for an efficient and streamlined running service department
- Coordinate with After Hours answering service to keep them updated of employee changes and on-call schedule
- Other service duties as required

**SKILLS**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Service and/or mechanically minded
- Thorough knowledge of typical office procedure, including typing/data entry, electronic/manual records management file systems, customer service, communication, teamwork, initiative, accountability, flexibility, and adaptability
- Organized and can manage several items concurrently, with an emphasis on determining priorities and organizing activities of a diverse work assignment
- Attention to detail to ensure data entry accuracy and quality of work
- Demonstrated ability to research/investigate issues and utilize decision-making skills to resolve problems and escalate when required

**EDUCATION AND TRAINING**:

- Completion of secondary school (preference to post-secondary with emphasis on Trades)
- Technical or HVAC industry experience (G2 Gas Technician certification would be an asset)
- Good working knowledge of CSA B149.1 and B149.2 code
- Ability to learn and become an expert with custom service software package (used daily)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
