**YOUR ROLE**

Reporting to the Director, People & Talent, the People & Talent Business Partner Retail will provide strategic and operational HR leadership and partnership to the North America Sales & Operations team and associates from the U.S and Canadian stores. They will act as a consultant on Human Resources related issues, act as a change agent as well as assess and anticipate HR-related and legal compliance needs. The People & Talent Business Partner Retail will provide recommendations to guide decision-making related to the associate experience and drive efforts and support activities within the following areas: Associate experience, growth and performance, company culture, associate engagement and retention.
- **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Provide HR guidance to store associates located in the USA and Canada related to HR matters: answers questions and address concerns, make recommendations and refer the associate to the best person or resource;
- Provide coaching and training to District Sales Managers and Sales Directors on any HR related matter and legal updates. Work with the Learning & Development team to identify training needs and create training material and present to the Sales and Operations teams.
- Investigate complaints of Harassment & Discrimination and Wage and hour
- Search, analyze and implement new laws and regulations or follow up on updates related to employment law to ensure compliance.
- Participate in Regional Meetings with the Sales and Operations teams;
- Draft, implement and update company policies and procedures in relation to retail operations.
- Analyze trends based on available metrics and key HR indicators and provide observations, propose solutions, initiatives and appropriate interventions.
- Conduct exit interviews of District Managers and Sales Directors departures and provide appropriate feedback to the leaders.
- Assist and coordinate Success Factors transactions (Job Changes, reorgs, terminations, maintain employee profile)
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations as needed.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of associates, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Act as an associate experience agent and support management to ensure positive work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Provide guidance and support the Sales and Operations team in regards to team restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Support and follow up on annual performance review process of District Sales Managers and Sales Directors.
- Support the Culture & Communication teams with initiatives and projects related to company culture and associate experience, such as Voice of the Associate and post VOA action planning,
- Stay informed about Sales and Operations projects, initiatives and challenges.
- Participate in industry and HR committees, conferences, training to remain top of market, deepen and maintain knowledge.
- Hold regular touchpoints with Senior Sales Directors and participate in townhalls and team meetings as feasible.
- Handle internal complaints and legal claims related to employment matters. Participate in mediation and tribunal hearings as needed.
- Support the Director, People & Talent and the rest of the team with any project and department needs.

**DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?**
- Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or equivalent.
- 5-7 years’ experience in a HR Business Partnership role or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to interact with and influence managers at various levels.
- Strong ability to establish positive and trusting relationships.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- High level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Great sense of urgency.
- Great team player and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and resolve complex situations autonomously.
- Fluently bilingual to work with the
