The Housing Stability Project Coordinator is a key member of the Housing Stability Division within the Housing and Homelessness Services Department.

Reporting to the Manager of Housing Stability, the Housing Stability Project Coordinator s primary responsibility is to keep all assigned projects and related processes running smoothly and ensuring that projects are delivered through the effective and efficient use of resources. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project management documents to track plans, project status and issues, and support the coordination, scheduling, and implementation of any project related to Housing Stability.

The Housing Stability Project Coordinator is a leadership role within the Housing Stability Division, providing guidance, technical competence, innovative problem solving, and demonstrating effective teamwork. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders in the community and will inform the strategic planning process for homelessness services and programming.

This position oversees the City s Coordinated Access System and is responsible for engaging all stakeholders, soliciting feedback, and providing recommendations for system improvements. The Housing Stability Project Coordinator is also responsible for the ongoing administration and use of the Homeless Individuals and Families Information System (HIFIS) by service providers. This position must be able to provide support and develop and deliver appropriate HIFIS training to internal and external partners.

This role is responsible for reviewing and analyzing data metrics, completing research, supporting continuous improvement in the delivery of homelessness services and actively participating in issue resolution and information sharing as part of the Housing Stability team.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Successful completion of a University degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field, with a demonstrated focus on research, analytical data collection and program evaluation.
- Work experience must include a minimum of two years project management and contract administration experience.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, designing and constructing, complex, multidisciplinary projects in a municipal environment.
- Demonstrated experience in complex reporting, analytics, and problem-solving in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Strong knowledge of housing and homelessness issues and current homelessness trends and best practices.
- Ability to understand the complexities service providers encounter when working with a community s most marginalized.
- Experience developing policies and procedures and integrating evidence based practices.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with community partners, stakeholders, elected officials.
- Knowledge of community health and social service resources.
- Work experience in the Municipal sector is an asset.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitation skills and presentation skills and the ability to work within deadlines with competing priorities.
- Ability to challenge, lead, engage and inspire others to excel in an environment that fosters innovative approaches to problem-resolution.
- Excellent analytical, communication, technological and problem-solving abilities; ability to exercise a high level of independence, integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and Social Media platforms is essential.
- Working knowledge of Crystal Reports software is an asset.
