**What you'll do**:

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals. Provide ongoing coaching and development to team members
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Client Relationships: Locating prospective customers, generating them into leads, and converting them to customers. Keeping contact lists and following up with current customers to continue building and maintaining strong relationships. Act as the primary point of contact for high-value customers.
- Sales Performance: Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas with a goal to grow revenues by $1M in the next 12 months. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Preparing and submitting weekly sales & pipeline updates reports to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to build up product & industry knowledge in order to answer any customer questions about the service and product and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales and marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost-efficient operations.

**What you bring**:
**Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience Experience in a leadership role or animal health industry is a bonus.

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to confidently make cold calls and negotiate sales terms.
- Strong public speaking skills to present products & services to customers.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (ideally HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
