Sales Lead

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Key job responsibilities
- Developing and implementing strategy to grow presence in new accounts and expand existing relationships with leading BioPharma clients.
- Leveraging market intelligence, industry trends, and customer insights to identify high-value sales opportunities and craft targeted sales strategies in Clinical Development.
- Collaborating closely with sales, technical, and product teams to understand customer requirements, propose innovative cloud-based solutions, and secure new business.
- Maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and consistently exceeding sales targets through strategic account planning and execution.
- Providing strategic recommendations to the leadership team on product roadmap, go-to-market strategies, and other initiatives to better serve the life science community.
- Providing feedback and insights to the product and marketing teams to help improve AWS life science offerings.
Minimum Requirements
- Extensive experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the life science and cloud technology industries.
- Deep knowledge of BioPharma Clinical Development, including IT systems landscape, data flow and data management, SaaS solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, data management, and life science research workflows.
- Advanced degree in a life science relevant field preferred.
- Deep understanding of cloud and data in life science clinical development.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
