The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing improved strategic sourcing policies for the organization’s packaging and other strategic supplies. The general hours of work will be 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. This role will be a hybrid model with flexibility to work from home based on business needs.

**Job Duties**
- Research, understand and anticipate market trends, public opinion and government policy with regards to packaging and materials usage
- Drive continuous improvement in the sourcing of required materials and supplies
- Source, screen, and qualify potential vendors and suppliers
- Build and manage Vendor relationships
- Managed RFQ process as applicable
- Maintain vendor database
- Develop, maintain, and improve overall organizational purchasing policies and procedures
- Utilize technology where possible to improve procurement/sourcing activities
- Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
- Attend trade shows focused on products, vendors and customers focused in the Produce Industry
- Work directly with Operations, Marketing and Finance to understand sourcing/procurement requirements
- Manage supplies inventory tracking including reordering to anticipate and proactively manage demand
- Open to travel between Toronto and Milton offices

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business/finance/logistics, or in a related field preferred
- Previous experience in sourcing/procurement
- Packaging Sourcing/Procurement considered an asset
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments in a fast pace environment
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Process improvement experience
