**Position title**:Agent, Accounts Receivable

**Location**:Montreal (hybrid)

**Reports to**: Supervisor, Invoicing & Deductions

Reporting to the Supervisor, Deduction, your role as an Agent, Deductions will consist of the research and resolution of customer open deductions and follow-up on exceptions and inquiries.

**Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities**:

- Review assigned customer accounts for deductions, overpayments, and credit memos; includes Debit Backs and rebates;
- Research/obtain reasons and details regarding customer deductions/overpayment;
- Issue credit and debit memos;
- Reconcile the customer accounts under your responsibility;
- Monitor/follow-up customer deductions and tracking log for customer service responses;
- Ensure daily accurate processing of customer credit card transactions, review reports, follow up on disputes, and ensure there are adequate controls.
- Assist Inside Sales group and customers in regards to their account information request.
- Sending monthly statements to customers who request them.

- You demonstrate good analysis skills and are organized;
- In addition to being customer oriented, you are proactive and a good team player;
- This position requires the ability to execute responsibilities with a minimum amount of coaching.

**Professional Experience/Qualifications**:

- DEC in accounting or finance combined with 2 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of equivalent work experience;
- A working knowledge of French written and spoken
- Experience in order to cash cycle is an asset;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office Suite products;
- Good knowledge of SAP (FI/CO and SD/MM) and AS400 is an asset.
- You must successfully complete a selection process that includes interviews, aptitude tests (for some positions) and reference verification._
