OCWA is seeking a proven, results-oriented manager to provide strategic leadership and overall management for OCWA operations in the Waterloo Region to ensure the delivery of safe, reliable, cost effective, competitive and profitable water and wastewater treatment services to clients. Join OCWA's Senior Leadership Team to lead Regional Hub initiatives, participate in the setting of corporate goals, business plans, business development and growth strategies, and pilot innovative technologies.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: As the Regional Hub Manager, you will:

- Develop and oversee regional strategic and financial plans; developing multi-year strategic plan, budgets and resource plans.
- Be accountable for the Regional Hub's health and safety performance and regulatory compliance.
- Take accountability for your Regional Hub's financial performance and ensure client retention, growth and profitability.
- Oversee client relationship management in the Regional Hub.
- Be accountable for the Regional Hub team's delivery of contractual obligations.
- Lead the Regional Hub team to identify business opportunities and deliver comprehensive water and wastewater operations, management and advisory services to clients.
- Manage human resources through effective leadership of the Regional Hub team.
- Lead the development and management of key projects in areas such as plant expansion and implementation of new technologies to increase capacity, conserve energy and find operational efficiencies.
- Integrate and implement OCWA's strategies, policies, programs, guidelines and procedures across the Regional Hub.
- Advise OCWA's senior management on Regional Hub water and wastewater management operations, risks and impacts, business development, financial performance and client sector issues/trends.
- Participate as a member of OCWA's Senior Leadership Team and actively contribute to the development and evaluation of client service objectives, business plans, performance measures, and issues management strategies.

**What we are looking for**: You have demonstrated knowledge/skill in the following areas:

- Leadership, Operational Management, Business Development and Financial Management skills
- Ability to take a continuous improvement approach by identifying new and better ways of process and techniques improvements, using leading edge technology and industry best practices in the clean water/wastewater business.
- Responsible for meeting organization wide targets and key performance indicators related to Health and Safety, process, energy, technology and compliance and is accountable for the quality of those results.
- Demonstrated leadership and operational management skills to lead and oversee the planning and delivery of water and wastewater management operations to clients.
- Demonstrated human resources management skills to lead, motivate, coach and manage a team of staff.
- Knowledge of management and business development principles, practices and methods to lead Regional Hub business growth and development initiatives and to position OCWA as a total solutions provider.
