Nova Scotia Land Surveyor

**ABLE Engineering is currently seeking a **_**Nova Scotia Land Surveyor **_**to join our team in our Metro office in Upper Tantallon**
- Develop survey plans, methods, and procedures for conducting legal surveys
- Conduct property research, thorough analysis, and review
- Complete boundary, subdivision, and topographic field surveys
- Complete construction layouts
- Conduct data processing and calculations
- Create detailed survey plans using Carlson software
- Conduct plan review and final checks
- Manage the daily activities of survey field crews
- Operate survey instruments and devices
- Prepare detailed field notes of survey activities
**Qualifications**
- A degree in Surveying/Geomatics or a diploma and CBEPS certificate
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience using Total Stations and RTK GPS
- Familiarity with engineering, architectural and survey plans
- Experience with Carlson software, MS Office Suite of products and project management software
- Chainsaw certification considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license
- Team player, ability to work under pressure, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills, close attention to detail, willingness to travel within Nova Scotia.
Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
