Hours:
**Part-time Position**: Available for shifts Monday to Saturday between 9:30-5:30pm. Part time staff is required to work a minimum of 15-20 hours a week of which Saturdays are required, a minimum of 2 Saturdays a month are required.

Our purpose as a company is to help parents find joy in parenting everyday by creating a fun and stress free shopping experience. Our retail team is the first point of contact with our customers and their role is to facilitate sales by creating exceptional experiences for parents. The Retail Customer Service & Product Expert is characterized by a natural curiosity and proactively seeks to comprehend the company's promotional campaigns and product range.

**Position Details**:
**Customer Experience**
- Brand Ambassador - Brings Baby Laurel to life for our customers while building brand loyalty.
- Customer Engagement - Initiates conversation, shares advice and product knowledge to actively engage with the customer in a genuine way. Acknowledges and assists customers; locates merchandise efficiently using various methods.
- Floor Presence - Supports sales floor, fitting room, check out and back of house processes.
- Store Technology - Utilizes technology to deliver a seamless shopping experience through execution of multi-services.

**Teamwork and Communication**
- Adaptable - Exhibits a willingness to learn and adapt; is flexible to change and open to try new ways of doing things.
- Positivity - Contributes to the store’s success by being positive, respectful and helpful to others.

**Visual and Business Operations**
- Awareness - Adheres to the store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all Baby Laurel policies and procedures to support the profitability of the store.
- Product Flow - Supports the shipment process to gain awareness of product including what’s new and what’s already on the floor; contributes to completion of online order fulfilment
- Store Environment - Maintains Baby Laurel visual and operational standards while keeping focus on the customer.

**Qualifications**
- 1+ years’ experience in the retail industry, preferably in children and women’s clothing OR equivalent education/experience.
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including weekends and holidays. Must be able to work a **minimum **of two Saturdays per month
- Commitment to quality with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient with current technology i.e. iPads, Mac, PC.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 50 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Ability to maneuver effectively around sales floor and stockroom.
- Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing.
