Automotive Document Scanner

Calgary, Canada Lexus of Calgary Full time

Lexus of Calgary is looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy individual to handle document scanning of our customer files and other important documents. This is a part-time temporary position and ideal position for a Post-Secondary Student or person re-entering the workforce.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 3 hours/day between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:30 pm

**Responsibilities/Tasks**
- Operation of computers and scanning equipment for scanning production. Starts, stops, feeds, and tends to a high volume, repetitive cycle, production machine
- Prepare documents for scanning
- Load documents into scanner while maintaining order of input and output
- Monitor scanning process and troubleshoot problems as necessary
- Perform quality checks by verifying electronic images on the screen and correcting any scanning malfunctions
- Inspect master and scanner output against standard quality control criteria to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
- Responsible for cleaning and daily maintenance of scanners
- Adhere to assigned work schedule
- Maintain a clean workstation
- Participate in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as may be assigned

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of work experience in related field with working knowledge of scanning equipment and processes
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in an efficient manner
- Intermediate PC hardware and software knowledge
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills
- Legally entitled to work in Canada by any employer
- Physical Requirements - sitting for long periods of time and lifting boxes up to 50lbs
