**Who we are**
TransEd Valley Line LRT is the first phase of the Valley Line project in Edmonton. Connecting Millwoods to downtown Edmonton, the valley line allows commuters to go from the South East of Edmonton to anywhere the LRT stops.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from various sources, including databases and reports, to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate key performance metrics, operational KPIs, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by performing data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation activities as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost optimization based on data-driven analysis and recommendations.
- Monitor operational performance metrics to identify deviations, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support maintenance planning and scheduling as required.
**What you will bring to the team**
- Educational background in Data Analysis or Business Administration.
- 1-2 years relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with experience in manipulating formulas, using advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros), creating complex forms, and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Knowledge of ERP software, such as Maximo and Agility, and a basic understanding of project structure in such systems.
- Knowledge of Public Transportation or Fleet Management, and specifically; Light Rail Streetcar projects is an asset
