**General Accountability**:

- Reporting to the Supervisor - Video Services, this position involves collecting, cataloguing, storing, disseminating and redacting video images gathered from TTC surface vehicles, subway trains, subway stations and other TTC buildings and facilities. This position carries out the processing and/or redaction of CCTV video and images from various TTC locations to support on-going investigations including criminal and workplace matters. Video retrieval is conducted in accordance with the standards set by the Ontario Privacy Commission and TTC’s Video Recording Policy. This position may be required to attend court on behalf of the TTC; provide evidence as it relates to CCTV video images; and act as a TTC representative with lawyers, agencies and defendants regarding disclosure of video images.-
**Key Job Functions**:

- Collects, catalogues, stores, disseminates and redacts video images gathered from TTC surface vehicles, subway trains, subway stations and other TTC buildings and facilities
- Processes CCTV images from various TTC locations to support on-going investigations including criminal and workplace matters
- Conducts video retrieval activities in accordance with the standards set by the Ontario Privacy Commission and TTC’s Video Recording Policy, and in harmony with other TTC departments and Emergency Response agencies
- Conducts video redaction as required for various internal and external clients
- Assists members of the Investigative Services Unit with investigations of a complex, confidential and sensitive nature as it relates to video retrieval issues
- Attends court on behalf of the TTC and provides evidence related to CCTV images as well as acts as the TTC representative with lawyers, agencies and defendants regarding the disclosure of video images as required
- Demonstrates behaviours that support diversity, inclusion, and a respectful work and service environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. Helps to remove barriers and accommodate employees and customers (within their area of responsibility) in accordance with TTC’s commitments and obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC) and Related Orders, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and TTC’s policies.

**Skills**:

- Communicate in a variety of mediums- Plan and organize activities / projects to meet section and organizational goals- Maintain documentation and historical records- **Education and Experience**:

- A University Degree, or College Diploma in a related discipline (i.e., Information Technology, Computer Science, Investigations, Business Management, Customer Service or Law Enforcement) or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed to be equivalent (combined with several years of similar or related work experience).
- Must possess a valid Province of Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence, and successfully complete the TTC’s instruction for the operation of a TTC automobile.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of computers, CCTV equipment and related software
- Sound knowledge of the court system and its processes and procedures for presentation and preservation of evidence
- Sound judgement and well-developed investigative and organizational skills for planning, scheduling work and demonstrated ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
- Good administrative and interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy for dealing with issues and investigations of a sensitive nature; effective verbal and written communication skills and highly developed customer service skills for dealing with internal and external clients
- Must have or acquire a good general knowledge of the TTC's properties, operations and security practices; and the TTC’s Video Recording Policy and related privacy policies
