**JOB PURPOSE**

Reporting to the Manager, Operations & Programs, the Operations & Program Coordinator will work to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations and coordination of Feed Ontario’s provincial food programs, in support of food banks across Ontario. They will also assist with the operationalization and implementation of all Feed Ontario food programs and campaigns. Additionally, they will be responsible for coordinating Food Banks Canada initiatives and national campaigns for our network in Ontario.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**PROGRAM COORDINATION & LOGISTICS**
- Coordinate day-to-day operations of Feed Ontario’s FeedON Program including responding to food bank and food donor inquiries, managing day-to-day logistics, creating shipping documents, coordinating shipments, and managing inbound and outbound donations
- Maintain the day-to-day functioning of the Smarter Needs Allocation Program (SNAP), Feed Ontario’s online distribution system through entering food donations, updating food bank and donor profiles, training of new and existing users, and managing system errors
- Synchronize national and provincial food related programs and campaigns including food drives, donor directed campaigns, etc.
- Provide reports and evaluate all food programs and campaigns, as needed, for the Manager, Operations and Programs
- Coordinate distribution and logistics for all provincial producer group programs including coordination of allocations, working with program vendors, and stewardship reporting for program partners
- Support the management and delivery of the One More Bite Program in collaboration with the Manager, Operations & Programs
- Coordinate the Full Shelves Program including execution of established distribution schedules, overseeing local coordination of the program, and associated reporting

**NETWORKING & PARTNERSHIPS**
- Develop and manages positive relationships with food industry donors and partners, transportation partners, and other logistics partners
- Coordinate Food Banks Canada food programs for Ontario, including National Food Sharing System, Food Drives, Retail Food Programs, and all other food and product donation programs
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Excellent computer skills in word processing, database management, and electronic communication software
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics, and/or food industry considered an asset
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Solution focused with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of hunger and poverty issues

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
The Feed Ontario office works under a hybrid model of in-person and remote work. Most work on behalf of Feed Ontario will done in an office environment. There will be some offsite travel required for meetings with partners and stakeholders. On occasion, you will be required to attend events on behalf of Feed Ontario.

**DIRECT REPORTS**
There are no direct reports to be supervised in this role.

**Salary**: $46,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
