We are currently looking to add a driven and ambitious Automation Supervisor to our Calgary team. Reporting to the Operations Manager (Automation).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Automation department.
- Ensure daily targets are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Coordinate and schedule daily automation activities.
- Train and supervise Automation staff
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and flag shortfalls to appropriate stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals
- Prepare and analyze reports for management review.
- Conduct studies to establish baseline metrics and update KPIs
- Conduct daily audits across all sections of the departments.
- Act as the first point of contact for team members looking to resolve issues.
- Oversee smooth operation of all equipment and tools in the Automation department.
- Facilitate enforcement of Good manufacturing practices amongst team members.
- Participate in different meetings and make suggestions for situations to improve
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholder cross functional teams.
- Enforce safe working practices amongst team members.
- Maintain accurate records across all functions within the Automation department.
- Champion continuous improvement projects to improve quality and throughput across all workstations.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:

- Completion of bachelor's degree or an equivalent Diploma in a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team.
- Demonstrated ability to G-Suite packages
- Project management experience or prior operations experience an asset.
