Our department is actively involved in upgrading our SAS platforms to the new SAS Viya platform and in running the SAS Grid and SAS SCD platforms. As a tech lead, you'll help our centre of expertise manage our SAS Grid platform. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Manage and maintain the availability and reliability of SAS services by monitoring system performance and promptly identifying and resolving issues.- Assess the modernization needs of the existing SAS infrastructure and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency.- Plan and execute modernization projects, including upgrades to SAS versions and new features.- Help plan and execute projects to migrate the SAS platform to new environments or infrastructures.- Provide advanced technical support to SAS users by resolving incidents and responding to requests in a timely way.- Work with SAS users to create the best experience while generating value from the SAS environment.- Provide internal teams with support and training on using SAS tools and platform features efficiently.

What you bring to the table- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer engineering or a related field- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- Knowledge of French is required- Expertise as a platform administrator for SAS 9.4M7 and SAS Viya on Azure cloud computing- Expertise in SAS tools such as SAS Base, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS DI Studio and SAS Management console- DevOps expertise including experience with Python, SAS, Shell, SQL, Ansible and Git- Expertise in modernizing, upgrading and migrating the SAS Enterprise Guide platform to SAS Viya- Expertise in communication and collaboration, with the ability to work effectively with interdepartmental teams and core business stakeholders- Advanced knowledge of IT environments, including operating systems (Windows, UNIX/Linux), relational databases and networks
