**Summary**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role is a hands-on working leader responsible for running a process of any given line efficiently and effectively in compliance with health and safety and quality standards. This role is accountable for the attainment of the assigned line.

**Responsibilities**
- Leadership, accountability and responsibility over a specified process in a manufacturing line
- Set up, assemble, inspect, and adjust packaging line on a daily basis to facilitate an efficient shift
- Perform basic inspection, clean and lubricate every equipment in assigned area
- Fills in for absent Associates on any part of the process
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical breakdowns and autonomous maintenance related to several types of packaging equipment.
- Assist in RCA investigations when the line is down
- Train new and existing associates on equipment set-up, changeover and basic troubleshooting
- Coach associates and provide input into their performance assessments.
- Promote Company purpose-driven, values-led culture by regularly communicating with and listening to associates
- Coordinate delivery of packaging materials to the line through the Material Handling team
- Relay pertinent information to Production Supervisor on daily basis
- Assists in the creation and further improvement of job instructions, visual aids, and area housekeeping.
- Understand, comply with, and support the enforcement of compliance with safety procedures and General Manufacturing Practices

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma, required
- Experience managing a process or full packaging line
- Knowledge of plant operations and mechanical equipment
- Proficiency in English, reading and writing
- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Excel, Word
- Passion for driving results and engaging a team

**Work Environment**
- Must wear Safety and GMP related personal protective equipment while on the plant floor: Safety shoes, safety glasses, company uniform Hair net, beard/moustache net (if applicable)
- High lift-truck traffic
- Temperature changing environment: humidity, heat, cold
- Noise-heavy environment, personal hearing protection can be provided upon request
- Some exposure to wet conditions, slippery floors
- Exposure to food odors
- Possibility for heaving lifting, manually moving products up to 50lbs

**Problem Solving/Decision Making**
- Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues on the packaging line
- Decide when it’s appropriate to escalate a problem to the Production Supervisor, Maintenance team or Quality team

Schedule to be determined by Hiring Manager

7:30am to 3:30pm

Typically, 37.5 Hour Work Weeks, with possibility of overtime in schedule
