We’re looking for an experienced Community & Content Coordinator to be the voice of Sonder across social media content and conversations. This role requires an impeccable mastery of social media and is right for the person who is a born problem-solver and loves content creation, nurturing communities and social media trends. This person will embody our core values of Artistry, Curiosity, Individuality and Openness to nurture a loyal, passionate and engaged Sonder community online while showcasing our brand via compelling content. This person should be highly creative with a solid sense of judgment and timing.

The Community & Content Coordinator will be part of the Brand & Ecommerce team and will report directly to the Digital Communications Manager.

AT SONDER YOU WILL:
- Bring our social media strategy to life across all our channels through lively copy, plan and publish assets on our B2C platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook- Run social media campaigns- Develop creative ways to drive earned storytelling for Sonder- Conduct thorough analysis of social media content performances while pro-actively proposing and executing actionable initiatives to improve engagement and visibility for the brand- Actively monitor and engage in social media conversations on Sonder B2C platforms (including internal reporting)- Develop and nurture relationships with our Sonder communities online- Ensure optimal collaboration with Brand & Ecommerce team members, City teams, Communication team, legal, and Global Guest Services teams- Active use of social listening tools to detect new trends, hot topics in our industry and monitor sentiment analysis; turn those trends into actionable insights applied to our social media strategy- Work closely with local teams (across different time zones and countries) to develop compelling social stories and narratives aligned to key milestones (including video shot in the field for social media purpose)- Work closely with Marketing and Brand teams to develop assets and ensure the visibility of Sonder on social media is “on brand”- Actively support our influencer program by managing influencer stays at Sonder (from recruiting to reporting) when needed

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Possess strong critical thinking, project management and time management skills, with the ability to be flexible and solutions-oriented; ability to lead and manage projects simultaneously on deadline- A driven, independent self-starter; results-oriented and ability to support work with data- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a social media community management or similar position; experience with consumer/lifestyle brand an asset- A university degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing- Impeccable English communication skills, both spoken and written; additional languages an asset; with eye for attention to detail- Experience with developing and maintaining social media channels at regional and international levels- Digital savvy, good understanding of overall social media ecosystem- Proven ability to generate conversation and engagement on behalf of brands or companies- Experience managing projects and issues across multiple stakeholders and countries- A driven, independent self-starter; results-oriented and ability to support work with data- Personality that thrives in a fast-paced environment and fits in an agile company culture- Ability to work effectively in a global, distributed team and in a primarily remote work environment- Knowledge of the hospitality sector and the industry is an asset
