A&B is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator (Hotline) for projects located throughout Alberta. This role requires at least 5 years previous hotline experience as an Excavator Operator, for Various projects. Travel will be required for work in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta on certain Projects. This role will be based out of our Regina Office.

You must be able to confidently operate various size excavators to perform excavation work around hotlines (live operating pipelines) in a congested work setting. Operators are responsible for operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner to reduce the risk of injury and property damage while also supporting construction activities as directed by the on-site Foreman.

**Responsibilities**
- Adherence to Safety regulations by monitoring operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met.
- Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, such as fueling and greasing, and making emergency adjustments.
- Assist with major repairs as necessary.
- Strong Experience with excavators and ability to excavate around existing live lines, on steep grades along with working in wet areas (muskeg) creeks.

**Work Conditions.**
- Remote Construction sites; Various Projects.
- LOA provided when on-site.
- Overtime as required.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years' experience operating Excavators around hotlines on pipeline integrity projects.
- A commitment to working safely and following all safety, health and environment policies and procedures.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions, in remote locations throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
- Standard First Aid & CPR.
- H2S Alive.
- Ground Disturbance Level 2.
- Valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
