Position Information

**Position Title**
- Student Records Officer - Term-Certain**Position Summary**Position Responsibilities**
- Update academic standing at term-end as a result of grade changes, supplemental and deferred examinations
- Analyze student academic history (courses, grades, and GPA) and prior learning to ensure optimal recognition of fulfilled program requirements and/or education pathway
- Respond to student enquires regarding academic standing, grade point averages, transfer credit and recognition of prior learning
- Build and update programs in Program Audit system based on Academic Council approvals of program requirements
- Confirm graduation requirements have been met for all students in the final term of their program
- Receiving and processing student transcript requests for delivery to students, other post-secondary institutions, licensing bodies and future employers

**Required Qualifications**
- Two (2) years of post-secondary training, completion of a community college certificate including trades apprenticeships or equivalent in Business Administration, Office Administration or Computer Information Systems
- Two years related experience preferably in a post secondary environment providing student services
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365 and data entry skills are required
- Use of an integrated database system and related reporting software is a requirement
- Proficiency with website navigation to research and locate information quickly
