Job Title: Experienced Accounting Administrator
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage invoicing and timekeeping procedures to ensure accurate and timely billing
- Support HR with employee onboarding, including the coordination of orientation, completion of paperwork, and data entry into HR systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports
- Assist with payroll processing, including verifying employee hours and updating payroll data
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and HR departments
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Comply with all relevant financial regulations and policies
**Requirements**:
- Must be local to the Calgary area.
- Proven experience in a similar accounting or administrative role
- Strong knowledge of invoicing and timekeeping processes
- Familiarity with employee onboarding and HR support functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
