**What to Expect**:
The Coordinator, Public Relations & Events is responsible for supporting Hudson's Bay’s Public Relations & Events strategy in Canada. This role reports to the Director, Public Relations.

**What you will do**:

- Daily monitoring of press coverage and the creation of monthly press reports, project summaries, and event recaps
- Assisting with reactive press requests through digital or in-store pulls
- Coordinating press mailers and seeding, including material sourcing, packaging, and distribution
- Handling administrative duties, such as processing and tracking invoices, and inputting into the PR calendar
- Building relationships with media representatives across all platforms (print, digital, broadcast, etc.)
- Maintaining media lists
- Support corporate communications tactics such as presentations and research
- Support all aspects of events, from planning to logistics and execution.
- Participate in social media creativity, with potential for posting and content creation

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Must hold a degree or post-graduate certificate in Public Relations
- No experience necessary, PR internship experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of the Canadian media landscape
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (a writing test may be required)
- Experience with Adobe Suite is an asset
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Adept at handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
