**Driver Training Program Manager**

The Canadian Fire Rescue College is currently seeking an experienced driver trainer and entrepreneur to join our team. The Driver Training Program Manager will be a senior training Instructor responsible for the development and official licensing of the driver training program, and the effective training of students. The Canadian Fire Rescue College will provide professional marketing services, vehicles, equipment, facilities, and administrative services to support the program manager. The program manager will be offered a profit share of the entire driver training division, and will be given a great degree of freedom in managing the driver training division of the Canadian Fire Rescue College.

**Knowledge and Skills Required**
- Class 1, 2, or 3 driver's license, “Q” Endorsed held for a minimum three (3) years
- Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and Emergency Procedures
- Current Class 3 trainer certification with the Ministry of Transportation
- Current air brake instructor certification with the Ministry of Transportation
- Clean 10-year commercial drivers abstract
- Managerial experience
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
- Actively participate in the CFRCs licensing process required to become a licensed driver training school.
- Manage additional driver training instructors (as needed)
- Assist with training program curriculum development (as needed)
- Participate in class scheduling meetings
- Conduct classroom sessions for students
- Conduct class 3 driver training sessions.
- Provide answers to student questions

**Experience**:

- Commercial driving: 3 years (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Alberta Beach, AB (required)
