**Role: HR Assistant**

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains accurate & up to date human resources files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees relating to standard policies, benefits, etc.; refers to more complex questions to HRBP.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of HR Files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files & records to ensure that all required documents have been collected & filed appropriately.
- Assists with payroll functions such as processing, answering employee questions, and fixing processing errors.
- Assists with recruitment.
- Conducts new hire orientation.
- Support in implementing company programs to increase morale.
- Entering data into HR databases
- Tracking the attendance of employees and their use of vacation and sick days
- Other duties as assigned by the HRBP.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive & confidential information with tact.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- 1+ years of experience, preferred.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- White Rock, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 1 year (required)
